About Shaun Michael Lee, DDS
A second-generation dentist carrying forward a legacy of care—rooted in the community and built on trust.
Dr. Shaun Michael Lee grew up surrounded by dentistry—not just as a profession, but as a way of life. His father, Dr. Thomas Lee, graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry in 1979 and soon opened a private practice in Paradise, California. For 38 years, he faithfully served patients from Paradise to Magalia—until the 2018 Camp Fire destroyed the building, bringing his career to a sudden and unexpected close.
Shaun earned his DDS from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 2011 and spent a decade practicing as an associate. Eventually, the pull of home—and a sense of unfinished legacy—brought him back to the Chico area to continue what his father began. Many of Dr. Thomas Lee’s former patients soon found their way back to a familiar name and a familiar level of care.
Now at the helm of his own practice, Shaun blends clinical excellence with the kind of personal connection that’s only possible when you’ve known your patients—or their families—for years. With the added support of his wife, also a trained dentist, Shaun’s practice benefits from a thoughtful, collaborative approach to care that’s both flexible and grounded.
